Children and their ghostly friends with Ralph Keeton



Kids today?

Who ever thought that ghosts or spirits are to domain of Adults is wildly wrong. Ralph's lost count of the times he has been asked to look at children going through strange times. Only to find them talking to others who we take for granted.

Dealing with these type of children takes time and patience from everyone. Two reasons for this is there are those children who do have vivid imaginations and the other is if they do have friends we don't want to upset either spirit or child. Whatever approach anyone takes you have to be sure, it's often the case the spirits are protecting and guiding them pecefully and with only one care to that of the child.
One little girl brought to Ralph's attention had become so engrossed in her world she wouldn't leave the room without kicking up a fuss. For in the room she'd play, laugh and draw very well indeed so much so it seemed like another girl all together. They weren't to far wrong as it turned out.

Ralph visited carefully entering the room on his own "I can tell you there is a girl energy here and its calm but won't leave the house, almost as though itself is too scared" and naturally the mother thought Ralph was on about her own child. " No this is a little girl with blonde hair down to her shoulders and almost straight cut accross the front, blue eyes but one is marked in the white of the eye - blood shot marks, always smiling and telling funny stories. She draws very well and likes to draw mommy ad daddy and the ginger cat. She's 8 years old and says she is always too hot - a fever, but no one knows she can hise well". The mother explained that was her girl but Ralph said no this is spirit "Her name was mandy or amanda?" and again the woman said her daughter was called Amanda.

Puzzled Ralph 2 sat down and said "I'm looking into a mirror and looking back at you" the woman gasped "My daughter uses those exact words". Ralph went down stairs and met Amanda, who seemed nervous but Ok. After talking to the girl all went upsatirs and Ralph said "this girl in spirit is your daughters double". The woman then went on to say they were worried as they wanted to move and her daughter had become so upset they had to call in the doctor "it was terrifying". Calmly Ralph explained that this little girl had passed away in that room but loved being there, she had made a connection to their daughter because they looked exactly the same.

The family contacted the previous ownwers who put them in contact with the first owners, only to find that their daughter had indeed passed in that room. More shockingly when they came round to visit with pictures both families were amazed to see both children had a remarkable resemblance to each other, infact both daughters had the same Teddy Bear (altough different styles) a brown and white with patched brown eyes.

To make matters even closer both children had produced the same drawings in childhood and when in the bedroom Amanda would draw considerably better than at school. Ralph was asked back and with both families present he chatted to both amandas to help resolve the moving situation. The spiritual Amanda wanted to stay with the living Amanda and it was agreed between all, the sipiritual Amanda visits both families even today even though there are 400 miles between them.

It just goes to show spirits can help mend many bridges and form good freindships, ebven if a little unexpected.


               


First experience?

Ralph's first 'Real' experience of death was at infant school, when his best friend was crushed to death in front of him by a lorry, this took the better part of a year to remove the images of the death and the sight of his friend in spirit still talking to Ralph. How do you explain at that age an energy rushing passed Ralph to grab his friend to take him away in spirit form, who'd believe him do you? How'd you deal with the trauma, no one really understood - no help, nor anyone who was prepared to listen without saying Ralph was too young to understand, what did Ralph know anyway?. Ralph KNEW and the spirit energies knew, they comforted him but adults misunderstood!

Its fair to say that if we were a little wiser to children and took the time to think about things spiritual we'd try to talk to our children about their spiritual friends. For these spirits do tend to be helpful if a little mischeivious at times. So remember don't just talk to one without mentioning the other.
But now you're thinking but how do I know? Well its easy you'll sense it, for example how can a child talk about things it can't know. Then there is the time your child helped you at a critical moment without you asking or even the time they were telling you about something that later on turned out to be remarkably true. Its fair to say most children will grow out of it through peer presure, but if they don't welcome them to my world and you'll have to sit back and enjoy the journey.

A personal view

Why do we laugh when Ralph says Santa Claus for some kids is spiritually scarey. Think about it, A big red man climbing down a chimney entering their domain with presents (when you said never take presents from strangers) and this man is a stranger. How does he get in? He eats my pies, there's this funny creature on the roof with a red nose and then he leaves a present.

Oh lets not forget the bogey man, the sand man, the thing under the bed, the dark cupboard etc...... now who says its not a scarey world for kids and yet! its full of spiritual things like the big red man etc.

Children are surrounded by spirituality from Adults who let kids believe in magical creatures, so why are you so quick to dismiss them really having a spiritual energy with them. Remember whilst you fill their heads with what you think is magic they believe in it, otherwise why is it so devastating to find out Santa wasn't real? So why be shocked to find out the spirit friend is actually real.


Children having spiritual encounters is more wide spread than you realise and for good reasons, it comforts them and for spirit they find someone willing to listen without questions or rationalising. Both have so much to gain and yet we could learn from many of our childrens encounters with spirit, as spirit fulfil many needs and are ready to move on when the child grows up or moves on. How selfless is it then for spirit knowing this and yet they still are prepared to help, advise and cause misgivings because they simply can.

Children see things from wonderful perspectives and they are more forgiving than adults. Remember children with spiritual energies do no real harm, yet have and give wonderful times. Dealing with these cases usually means everyone involved needs to understand. Its part of our early connections that we usually move on fron and return to later in life, which is a pity really.
