Its always nice to go to meet people but unusual to meet the stars, then again to be asked to meet them for a TV program that's alluring in its own right.

The request was to meet in a secret location whilst being informed to keep it as quite as possible so we could film around a museum, before the public get to know or it being developed into a national status site. At the last minute a change and a real treat to meet not one but three stars on two different days for the BBC film crew. The crew where intrigued let alone the stars on the day.

The arrangements?

griff and ralph meet for BBC Restoration The meeting was private and not shown on TV, but proved an eventful for all. The meeting involved a private audience and lasted for a few hours. These private filmed sessions are held in esteem and often confidential information does not need airing. Needless to say on this occasion history repeated itself with everyone in agreement regarding the passing of illuminating details to all.

The meeting of minds ?

The filming did start easy enough, with Griff meeting Ralph for an interview. "Griff was very direct in his questions and yet very intrigued" Ralph told us after "Griff had wanted to know what part in the Heugh Gun Battery's restoration Ralph actually played. I raise funds through taking people on overnight stays on the battery, 10 pm until 6 am" Ralph had replied.
Ralph explained how he taught them about and introduce them to the Ghosts of the Heugh Gun Battery. "A chilling but always eventful night, with everyone gaining from it. As you will see Griff if you stay long enough" Ralph went on to say with a cheeky grin.

Starting to film with Ralph.

We took the other members of the crew on a tour of the Tunnels underground. Filming in the sheer blackness and the crew where immediately subjected to strange noises, footsteps and a voice calling out 'hello'.
The first man to enter was the Sergeant, Ralph's first words were "It's sergeant who's job it is to keep us in order". But there he was the Sergeant by walking down the corridor (you hear his footsteps) then out went the candle.

An intriguing few hours followed with all having some form of experience and Ralph educating those present about spirit life forms and why they visit as they us in thier unique way.
