The Power of Meditation

One of the most common questions asked is does meditation really work or are we just relaxing. The answer is yes to both.
Ralph asks that you remember this is the most common way to meet, greet and become part of the spiritual world, as you are deliberatly seeking them. You are also using Attunement of the mind, body and soul (spirit energy).



Meditation


First foremost never, never, never under estimate the power of meditation. You by your own processes naturally meditate everyday and even without a moments hesitation. Simply put you day dream or wander with your thoughts naturally, even to the extent of ignoring everyone in a hazey fashion and this is where you begin.

Before you begin any form of spiritual contact you need to relax or 'Prepare yourselves' as Ralph explains. This allows you to be in control and strengthen your connections, for if you do not you'll not know whether the impressions received are your own minds or spiritual.

            
               



Meditation Sensitivity

By Meditating you are able to become aware of your untapped inner resources. Invoking them whenever you feel stressed, unsure or unsettled. You begin to understand the usefulness of your mind. Acheiving inner poise that ultimately percolates into your daily life. The tranquility acquired become infectious to those around you. In this way you try to make your whole environment happy, peaceful and illuminating.

Meditation is a great aid and empowerment for relaxation & peace of mind. A path for our spiritual quest for the ultimate spiritual goal of self-enlightenment. Meditation helps maintain that natural integral part of the divine consciousness.

               

Techniques

They say the best meal of the day is your morning meal, so it is with this meditation. Personally as soon as you awake your ask mind to think about the positive way the day will be, no matter what the day brings. This process explains to your body how you want to be. Then as soon as you are refreshed and clear thinking meditate for 15 minutes.

Relax by sitting on the bed or chair in the bedroom,remember this room is already charged and prepared for a peacefulness. Grounding yourself, in other words feeling the earth and then connecting to the sky. Sit comfortably with your feet on the floor, think how the souls of your feet are touching the floor. Imagine your feet are inside the earth (like a pair of shoes) and you can feel a connection to earth. This becomes one with you as you flow into the earth, the soul reaches out to anchor to mother earth.
Breathing should be natural, but slow down your breathing and allow your self to have deeper breaths. Remember the air you breath in is full of life and you need its oxygen, as you breath out you breath back the waste the earths plants need.
As you do so think that as you breath out the plants feed from it and the earth feeds the plant to grow as in fact you are doing. You are now completing a life cycle for yourself. feel the space and air around you, feel the earth beneath your feet and let your mind wander. Let these images just be random images or follow them to a journeys end, but let them realx you.
If you see only darkness, imagne its night and look for the stars and simply look for the lights. Alternatively if you think of yourself in a tunnel keep moving towards the end, for in the darkness is life and you are being protected.



               

Being spiritually connected is truly a gift. It's like a rainbow on a rainy day, you know it doesn't exist but its beautiful when you realise you can see it.
