The canadian film crew met Ralph under strict rules to tell no one. The secrecy was due to the film release of the children's film 'Monster House'.
The crew had never met a medium before and during filming the questions started to gain momentum.
The mediumship on display centred around two families in need of answers.
The journey began in a castle to help provide evidence to owners, staff and the crew that their experiences had in fact been related to ghostly activities.
Beginning with the most remarkable events surrounding the burial of a horse.
The horse being described in detail and Ralph pointing to its whereabouts within the grounds.
No record of the horse existed for the general public which astounded the owner as only the family knew of its existence but not its whereabouts.
This put everyone on edge as Ralph was off to an unusual start.
Carrying on in this vein was a room not in the planning for the filming.
Here Ralph described the death of a brother shot in an argument, but before anyone could enter Ralph described the room and its contents.
As they entered it was exactly as described only the bed being different (today's being a modern version).
The crew and staff showed shock at the accuracy of the details.
Then a description of a dying man was given including the nature of his death along with his relation to the castle, again confirmed only by the family.
By now the crew realized this was no ordinary filming schedule as ralph had gone away from where they thought he would need to be, the family again taken aback at the details kept secret for so long.
In fact the day not only proved the death of a brother in the woods (actually visited by Ralph and the film crew), but a spirit man roamimg the rooms called Ralph (again verified as the other brother). Ralph also mentioned a hidden staircase where a woman was walled in and her spirit seen by a window as she combed her hair, again verified by staff and the owners. Ralph visited the very room where the lady is walled up (kept private now) and gave descriptions of two children seen running around the corridors by unsuspecting guests.
By the end of the day Ralph asked to venture into the depths of the castles dungeons only to explain there were more walled off that they knew nothing about. The depths had its own secrets from the past revealed in detail and again confirmed after consultation with the original family as no records exist publically. To preserve the nature of these we have not gone into too much depth.
We received a phone call asking 'Is it possible to film an exorcism ?',
the reply - a resounding 'Yes ! now you'll see how it really works'.
We had a home that needed energies removing but it isn't for the faint of heart.
Especially one that has other energies battling against you and all for very different reasons.
So imagine if you will, being able to communicate with spirit and finding yourself challenged both psychically and mentally.
The problem here is Spirit energy in the home being both aggressive and protective.
Spirit energies in conflict with themselves as well as us isn't the easiest of spirit energies to deal with.
Nor would it prove to be easy on the uninitiated crew about to take part in the filming.
The filming started easy enough but as the family are interviewed, noises and a coldness suddenly arrived.
The crew looked on nervously but carried on interviewing the family anyway.
The family explained how they'd coped with it for the last years and how it had affected them.
From an evil 'ghost' causing bad atmosphere's, moving objects (small at first), smashing a toilet cistern to appearing to them in one room.
The father explained further about the second 'friendlier' ghost and what she'd done for them.
We took the other members of the crew on a tour of the next floor.
Starting to film in day light and the crew where subjected to strange noises, even the sound guy (Eric) started to wonder.
Nikki assured them it would be Ok but they looked dubious.
The first room was an introduction to the female in pink who's task it was to look after the two boys.
She'd lost her two young children (murdered) and looked to protect the two youngest in the home from 'others'.
An explanation of the sightings by the youngest boy followed by the father who on a separate occasion saw her for himself.
"I now believe my son when he tells me 'the lady tucks me in'" he told the crew.
Out in the landing Nikki stated the noises everyone could hear at that moment, were in fact ticking noises.
I explained there was another man present who'd collected clocks,
in particular one grand father clock took his fancy.
This was the one that stood on the stairs, his special clock.
The father laughs "that'll explain what we thought was the pipes and the plumber couldn't find anything wrong".
I explain we'd better move on as we where joined by the most notorious energy of them all.
The lights flickered and we smelt the odour, at that moment the batteries and filming camera stopped.
We agreed to leave it for tomorrow, only to guess what would happen.
Up early and to the home, the weather is kind so we film outside.
Its explained the house has a dark past having been exorcised by a catholic priest before.
The home has had problems for over twenty five years and since Nikki and Myself had arrived it had heightened.
I explain "They know why we're here and what I want to do, sorry guys"
Into the home and onto the next floor.
I explained about the room's temperature but in fact as you breathed out you could see the misty air.
The radiators were on full heat and it was still getting colder.
I explain about the man who visited here and his intentions & what he was capable of.
Until the Film is released I'm under wraps....sorry, but I can tell you over the next 5 hours it got scary!
 
Later the room temperature turned freezing just as I lay down my law to him. He stepped forward and to every ones shock decided to flicker all the lights,
slam a door and push us around.
To prove his existence we turned off the lights on the upper floors and to our amazement he tuned on light on in our room
(must state here we had someone check the electric bulb after, it just turned off and on normally).
It flickered at us for the duration of our first stay, to answer our questions and to annoy us.
Finally we had to break for not only was I getting tired but the father had suffered an attack to his back and we needed to rest.
With the electric restored we left to rest but the whole operation became solemn and silent as we parted company to recuperate.
As we left I told them "He's off to turn out all the electric and play with you all......."
We went across the road to eat or so we thought. We all sat down and ordered our food, but for me it started again.
I was met by a female and told a shocking story which connected this pub to the home opposite.
I relayed my message to the crew and up we got, cameras rolling and I asked the owner if we could go below into the cellars.
Nikki left to explain to the bewildered owners what we we're doing.
Soon Nikki and myself stood by the wall I had been directed to.
I spoke out "There's a murdered nun and child behind here, in a tunnel."
I could feel her presence close to the wall.
I held a flashlight to the wall and she dimmed it for us and used it to answer questions.
Her story is one of treachery, deceit and a tormented death.
She wandered the tunnel leading under the house, often going up to see this family.
I left the wall to have the flashlight checked independently before returning to the wall.
Again she dimmed it and gave us more information, by now the crew were in amazement.
Nikki and I could just hear their comments as they walked away from us to talk.
Total disbelief and yet in awe of what they were experiencing.
Over the road without our knowledge the lights had gone out, leaving everyone in panic.
A check next door revealed it was only their home affected. After 10 minutes all was back to normal (they thought!)
We returned to the homes upstairs and felt the full might of the man. Exploding lights (the film crews), freezing conditions,
body injuries and a darkness so black it felt unreal.
Then there were the sounds only caught onto the sound system not audible to us at the time.
In fact I remember seeing the film crew bunched together in a tight pack as I proceeded with the exorcism.
The Shocked crew still couldn't believe the atmosphere as I controlled the full exorcism, despite the distractions.
Only after several attempts did the Spirit Entity move on and away from its earthly connections.
I moved the energy away to rest and cleaned out the entire floor, leaving those who wanted to protect the family alone.
Only after as we rested some 8 hours later did the director tell me it was for Steven Speilberg and Robert Zemeckis.
This in part gave Nikki and myself another shock, but a friendly one !
The filming was for the 3D Film 'Monster House' and our story is the documentary on the DVD and digital channel release.
Above Ralph (stood), Nikki, the family (mum, dad and three kids) and the film crew enjoy some light relief after the clearance.
